Shiseido celebrates its 140th anniversary this year, and to mark the milestone, the brand went back to its roots, re-introducing its first product ever, the Eudermine Revitalizing Essence, in its original bottle (left in the photo above). How cool is that?
One of Shiseido’s bestsellers up to this day, the moisturizing formula responds to changes in the climate, keeping the skin hydrated regardless of location or season– a beauty must-have for all traveling this summer. Dubbed as “Shiseido’s Red Water” for its scarlet containers (that changed several times over the years), the limited-edition essence is available for $60 a bottle, and comes with a set of limited-edition blotting papers that are currently available only in Japan.
But the party does not end there. Shiseido has additionaly launched a virtual Wishing Tree on their Facebook page. Post your “wish for the world,” and Shiseido will plant a cherry blossom tree, in collaboration with the New York Restoration Project, with every 140 wishes made.
