Soludos has been cranking out reliably awesome espadrilles for a couple of years now (they’re my go-to for flats–are they yours?), and this week Racked made our day by reporting that the company has expanded out of the jute-heeled shoes for the first time ever to make a line of tote bags, beach towels and wraps. Oh, happy day!

Makers of the best-ever flat cloth espadrilles just added Classic Totes, Kikoy Wrapsand Kikoy Towels to their repertoire. If you’re wondering what Kikoy means, we got your back. It’s Swahili for a soft cotton material that is the traditional East African version of a sarong. It can also be used as a towel, hence the Kikoy Wraps and Kikoy Towels. Soludos’ mission statement is “to celebrate summer’s sweetest moments all year round,” so I suppose a line of beach-friendly totes and towels is the most natural (and most awesome) next step.

The Kikoy Wraps and Towels retail for $45-$55 and beach totes are $55-$75. Check out the collection in our slideshow and shop them here.
