How To Clean Off All The Dirt And Oil From Your Eyeglasses
August 27, 2015
If you wear eyeglasses every day then you know they can get really dirty. I take pretty good care of my glasses, yet I can never get them fully clean. There are so many little crevices in glasses where dirt and makeup and whatever else gets trapped inside. The easiest part to clean on glasses is the lenses and even those get streaky and gross. Thankfully, there’s a really easy way to clean eyeglasses and it only requires one thing.
Before I get into how to clean your glasses, please note you should never clean your lenses with a t-shirt! There is so much dust trapped in a t-shirt and dust can easily scratch your lenses. Opt for a microfiber cloth or the method below.
How To Properly Clean Eyeglasses:
1. Run your glasses under warm water.
2. Use a drop of dish soap and use your fingers to create a lather on your glasses. Make sure you clean your frames too and not just your lenses.
3. Rinse off the dish soap with warm water.
4. Use a cotton cloth or paper towel to dry off your glasses.
That’s it! Clean them as often as you need to.
