From TV and movies to Instagram and YouTube, wavy hair is everywhere these days. We have no doubt beach waves are going to be the hairstyle of the summer, so it’s about time you learned how to master this look.

Dreading the thought of using heat on your hair when it’s already so hot outside? Follow the steps below to get gorgeous beauty vlogger waves but without using any heat. Not only does this method take less time, but it’s better for your hair, too.

Step 1: After you’ve shampooed and conditioned your hair, spritz some texture spray on your damp hair.

Step 2: After applying the texture spray, part your hair down the center and braid each side. If you want looser waves, gently loosen the strands of the braid so it’s not tight.

Step 3: Once your braids have dried, take them out and shake out the waves. To protect from frizz and to hold the waves all day, lightly spritz hairspray all over.

And you’re done! The best part? You can do steps 1 and 2 at night and wake up with gorgeous waves without having to wait in the morning.
