We all enjoy a good night’s sleep, but the changing seasons can mess with your nighttime habits. And winter can be a huge disruption to your cycle. That’s why it’s important to make sure you adjust your routine so that you can stay on track. But how? Here are a few tips to try right now that’ll help you get a good night’s sleep this winter.

1.Turn down the thermostat. While you first instinct may be to crank the heat all the way up, don’t. Keep the temps somewhere between 68 and 72 degrees and make sure that you don’t over do it.

2.Ditch the hot showers. In general, really hot showers aren’t that great for your skin, but the same negative affects apply for sleeping. Go for a warm shower to help regulate you body temperature more before bedtime.

3.Invest in a humidifier. As the air is dry in the winter, it’s important to get moisture. A humidifier is a great tool to help with that and provide a more comfortable sleeping environment.
