I have a serious addiction…to makeup. My vanity looks like a low-budget M.A.C. counter–it’s filled with half-used lotions, eyeshadows and sprays. Every time I went shopping, I would buy a new makeup product as a treat or get sucked in by sales associate. I finally sat down and evaluated amount of money I was spending on cosmetics and–yikes–it wasn’t pretty. I decided to put an end to my compulsive cosmetics shopping. I still buy makeup, but I make smarter purchases and take advantage of freebies and sales. And surprisingly enough, I haven’t gone into Sephora withdrawal (yet). Click though the slideshow to see my money saving tips for buying cosmetics.
