How To Turn Old Jeans In To Cute Cut-Off Shorts

Denim is way big this season, so you’ll probably be investing in a lot if it. But instead of shelling out cash on a new pair of denim shorts, just turn an old pair of jeans into cutoffs—it’s super simple, check out the clip to see for yourself:

Here’s a quick write-up of the steps!

Step 1: Try on the jeans to figure out how short you’d like your cutoffs to be, then use a safety pin to pinpoint the length.

Step 2: Using a ruler and pencil, draw a line at the spot where you plan to cut. For a more flattering pair of shorts, angle the line downwards to create a slight V.

Step 3: Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut one pant leg at a time, following the path of the line you drew.

Step 4: Finally, throw your new shorts into the wash for that extra fray.

Enjoy!
