Is Benefit's New Art Deco Collection Inspired By The Great Gatsby?

Benefit Cosmetics just launched their new Color Collection makeup, inspired by the San Fransico Art Deco era. The cosmetics brand released several new shades of their Ultra Plush Lip Glosses ($16) and their Creaseless Cream Shadows ($20) for the line. The best part of the line is the packaging, which looks straight out of the 1920s. But we can’t help but notice the collection’s launch is suspiciously close to the premiere of much-anticipated Great Gatsby movie. Was Benefit was trying to channel Daisy Buchanan for the collection? We don’t know for sure if they were jumping on the Gatsby-trend or not, but we love the look (and quality) of the makeup. You can do the the Charleston all night long  and your eyeshadow won’t budge. Check out the Art Deco makeup below:

Longwear Powder Shadow in ‘Call My Bluff’ ($20)

Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in ‘Lollibop’ ($16)

Creaseless Cream Shadow in ‘Bikini-tini’ ($20)
