There’s no way Jessica Alba doesn’t eat a filling breakfast. She’s incredibly busy (we assume) in her professional life with acting gigs and running a multi-billion dollar beauty company, not to mention, she has parenting duties to two little ones at home! So she definitely needs an energizing boost to start her day off right.
“I was never a big breakfast person,” she tells Shape. “I used to just pound coffee and a banana in the morning—but recently I started making this shake using vegan protein powder, matcha green tea powder, a banana, coconut water, and ice.” That sounds like a whole lot of “healthy things we should be eating” in a cup–makes sense it would be the first thing she puts in her body every day!
She continues, “I drink it before a workout and it doesn’t make me feel too full. Or I can have it after-ward and feel satisfied until lunch.” So, basically, we should all start our days with a super smoothie before or after a workout. That is if we want to have Jessica Alba’s body (aka, what every woman wants).
