Jil Sander’s $135 Anti-It Bag is sold out of stores everywhere.
The Guardian posted an interesting story today about the Jil Sander Acetate Market Tote and the demise of the designer “It” bag. What we were more shocked by, however, is that the bag is being marketed (ha) as an actual purse alongside similar leather styles, having nothing to do with the eco-friendly re-usable grocery bag trend we’ve seen in the past. Unfortunately, just as we were starting to come around to the idea of the ironic “it” bag, we learned that Jil Sander’s $135 acetate version (pictured above) is sold out in stores everywhere, while the $895 leather version is still available on Net-a-Porter.com.
