Her movie roles have put her in nerdy glasses, frumpy cardigans, cowboy boots, and flannel – but her red carpet fashion has always put her on the A-list. We’re ridiculously excited to see what Anne Hathaway will wear on her wedding day, in fact, we’ve been fantasizing about it ever since she announced her engagement. These fabulous fashion sketches frankly make us a little giddy.

Angel Rivera:

Angel Rivera is known for intricately detailed gowns that are accentuated with the richest silks, delicate lace and intricate beading. Rivera created not 1, not 2, but 3 timeless designs for Anne’s big day – an opulent bell ball gown (seen at top), a beautiful princess gown (seen above), and one sparkling, skeek n’ sexy fitted number.

Claire Pettibone:

Claire Pettibone specializes in ethereal dresses with a playful, vintage look. Claire’s romantic and ultra feminine line incorporates jeweled eyelet lace, silk floral appliqués and detailed European trimmings. Her vision for Anne included cap sleeves, a drop-waist bodice, and a sweeping chapel train.

Anne Barge:

Designer Anne Barge’s use of pure silk couture fabrics paired with simple clean lines beautifully modernizes vintage couture. She created an understated, elegant and romantic wedding look for Hathaway. Barge’s proposed gown features an illusion neckline, long sleeves, and delicately embroidered beading and detailing.

Ines Di Santo:

Ines Di Santo  is known for marrying sculpted, polished bodices with sumptuously layered skirts and romantic detailing.   Di Santo  sketched two award-worthy wedding dress ideas for Ms. Hathaway – a strapless, A-line gown (seen above), and a fabulous, lacey concoction with a pick-up hemline.

Junko Yoshioka:

Junko Yoshioka bridges the past and present with masterful design techniques, creating a dress collection with both modern grace and timeless beauty. Yoshioka’s sketch outfits Anne in a gorgeous ruffled mermaid wedding dress with a dramatic ruched bodice.

Christina Makowsky:

Christina Makowsky is known for her timeless fashion pieces. “I  created an elegant, opulent, and chic gown for Anne Hathaway.” says Makowsky. “I wanted to emphasize her tall frame so I decided an empire waist gown would be the most flattering. The vintage crystal belt is the perfect amount of sparkle for her big day.”

Reem Acra:

Reem Acra’s poetic combinations of classic bridal elements with modern styles and contemporary flourishes have made her one of the leading names in the bridal biz. Acra dressed our celeb bride in an off-the-shoulder gown with a criss-cross bodice and a voluminous ruffled ball gown skirt with lots of peekaboo crinoline.

Angel Sanchez:

Angel Sanchez is world renowned for his structured, architectural designs. He created an illusion neckline gown for Anne with French overlay and a lavish over-skirt that gives way to the bridal train. “Anne has all the ingredients to become the iconic bride of this generation.” says Sanchez. She is beautiful, charismatic and has incredible fashion sense… In short she is the ideal of any designer.”
