Remember back in 2010 when everyone freaked out about Kate Moss’s last Topshop line ever? Well, it was all lies because the supermodel and British chain are back at it for a new collection set to launch in April 2014. So much for the “end of a fashion era”.
In case you’re not up to speed, Kate Moss is no stranger to designing clothes for the store. She collaborated with Topshop on 14 collections between 2007 and 2010. Yes, that’s 1-4. Each line was hugely successful, because, well, everyone wants the model’s style. She’s literally won awards for it. This new collection features 40 styles and is all inspired by Kate’s impeccable fashion sense. She tells WWD that there’s no better time than now for her to re-team with Topshop: “Kate was talking about London as a style city, and how it was becoming ever more relevant on the international stage”. If there’s anyone to put London on the map as an international fashion city, it’s Kate Moss.
The collection will be sold at Topshop stores, online and select Nordstrom stores when it hits next spring. We definitely didn’t have this many options to shop the collab stateside back in 2010!
