This week’s book pick to read with your children is Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems.

Synopsis: Knuffle Bunny is the story of a young girl who loses her favorite huggy, Knuffe Bunny, in the laundromat. Unknowingly, dad drags poor Trixie out during the dry cycle with her beloved bunny in the dryer. Not old enough to articulate what’s happening, Trixie pitches a fit which her dad simply can’t understand. When they return and discover Knuffle Bunny, a sweet reunion and funny ensues.

Why We Love It: Brooklyn-based creative genuis Mo Willems has toured the country visiting his massive fan base of elementary school kids to share his stories. This book is one of his best because kids of all ages and their parents can relate to it.
