Kinect for Xbox 360 Now Available at Toys ‘R Us

The wait is over—the Kinect for Xbox 360 is here and just in time for the holidays. Literally a game changer in the world of video games, the system makes video game controllers pretty much a thing of the past. Say what? Yup, the system has one-upped Nintendo’s popular hand-held Wii and uses your body movements to play games and interact with the digital characters…sans the video game controller. Now how cool is that?

The Kinect is already being hailed as one of the top 2010 Christmas toys, so if you’re looking for just one big-ticket item for the kids this year, this is it. The 4GB Console with Kinect will set you back a cool $300, but if you pick one up today, Toys ‘R Us will throw in a FREE $20 Gift Card. They’re limiting sales to one Kinect per family, so get yours before they sell out.
