Kourtney Kardashian Shows Us How To Make Casual Look Glam
August 27, 2010
Much like her famous sisters, Kourtney Kardashian– regardless of where she is or what time of day it may be– always manages to look effortlessly glam. We are loving this casually chic ensemble of hers, from the breezy top to the gold-accented carryall. Pull off this hat and sunglasses at night look if you are ever want to feel like a celeb; B-list or otherwise.
Joie’s Maddie Top ($98) is the perfect example of how to do a sheer, slubby shirt without being sloppy: it hangs off the shoulders ever-so-perfectly, but still maintains a feminine shape.
As proven by Kourtney, a dark boyfriend blazer pulls any outfit together. This Topshop blazer ($125) is an obvious choice, and we are loving the pre-scrunched sleeves.
Skinny cargos and khakis are everywhere this fall, and we can’t wait to rock these 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere Gummy Skinny Jeans ($100.99, down from $169). If you’re tired of your denim skinnies, this is the perfect way to switch things up.
Black ballet flats, like this French Sole Sloop pair ($94.95), are one of the simplest ways to instantly dress your casual outfit up. And comfort is always a nice bonus.
Kourtney’s Balenciaga tote might be out of your price range (and, ok, ours as well), but this Steven by Steve Madden Vilete X Body Hobo ($252.95) is a fabulous alternative. Not only does it have similar gold hardware, but the cross-body trend is huge this season, making it doubly stylish.
Add some sparkle with a long pendant necklace, like this Baroni Henna one ($123). While we love Kourtney’s silver version, there’s something about yellow gold and fall that just seem to go together.
Top it off (Kourtney-style) with a wide-brimmed hat. This Gambler version ($31.48) is ideal for cooler weather: it’s not too floppy or summery, and is flattering on all face shapes.
