The youngest member of the Kardashian/Jenner family has certainly grown up before our eyes, but we sometimes forget that she is only 18 years old. I’m talking about Kylie Jenner. She is Interview magazine‘s newest cover girl and she completely opened up in her interview. After reading what she had to say, I kind of felt bad for Kylie and I sympathized with her.
In the interview, she’s asked about her experience with bullying. “Yeah, pretty much ever since I was 9, since the show started, there’s been so much bullying towards me,” she said. “Like, every single day I see something negative about me. And it’s just completely torn me apart.”
Kylie also went on to say the life we see on social media isn’t even who she truly is. “There is absolutely a side of me that people don’t know. I’m not myself on Snapchat or Instagram,” she revealed. “That’s totally not me. I’m way flashier on Instagram and Snapchat, because I feel like that’s what people want to see and that’s what I’ve always done, so I’m not going to stop.” It’s honestly sad that an 18-year-old girl feels like she has to impress the world and live two completely different lives. Judging by her millions and millions of followers, Kylie does a good job convincing people of her “real” life.
She says she wakes up every morning with anxiety because there could be a negative story written about her. “My worst fear is waking up and finding something bad about me on the internet,” Kylie said.
