L.L. Bean, the legendary American label often favored by grandpas and toted on the backs of junior high school students, recently introduced the fall line of its Signature Collection and suddenly L.L. Bean is back on our radar. The pieces, which we’d call “Americana chic,” have a dash of Jenna Lyons-J.Crew to them, with rugged wellies, feminine dresses and, of course, New England staples like blazers and chunky knits:

L.L. Bean Signature’s Rayon Plunge Neck Dress ($109) is exactly the thing we want to wear to work all season. It’s effortlessly sophisticated, easy-to-wear, and the color couldn’t be more “now.” Pair with some knee-high boots and you’re good to go.

This Pebbled Leather Bowling Bag ($225) is an instant classic and totally looks Marc Jacobs-esque, but for way less the price. We’ll take two.

These Shearling Lined L.L. Bean Boots ($299) will last you season after season, and will never go out of style (or practicality). Wear with skinny jeans and a peacoat for a too-cute New England vibe.
