Sorry, Paris: Panties Are Back

I am thrilled at fashion's renewed embrace of lady-like style. Forget the revealing antics of drunken celebs, the new look is all about elegance. Graceful and conscious of the feminine silhouette, this seasons' office and parent friendly styles are a direct reaction to the trapeze and bubble dress' tendency to obscure everything but the face, legs, and wrists. (While that's great if you're having a fat day, it is kind of like a fashionable pseudo-burka.) The new styles reveal the best aspects of a woman's curves while making the term "nip slip" inapplicable. So, channel your inner lady and boot the tramp in a few of my favorite frocks.

Thread Social Sweater dress ($615)

Milly Dotted Mini Dress (on sale for $291)

Betsy Johnson Satin Blouse ($185) and Corseted Skirt ($260)

Banana Republic Shirt Dress ($128)

Women: Long-sleeve shirtdress - Black
