I Got Lash Extensions At Sugarlash PRO For The First Time--See The Before And Afters!

February 24, 2017 by Alisha Stacy

Long, full lashes are always a good look, but it seems like they’re more popular than ever these days. Rather than women relying on a great mascara, lash extensions are all the rage. But what exactly happens during a lash extension session? I’m here to reveal all!

I was recently given the opportunity to experience lash extensions with Sugarlash PRO specialist Vanessa and before I get into the nitty-gritty, I’ll spill the beans–it was amazing! Here’s what went down:

Before anyone ever even touches your lashes, there’s a quick consultation about what look you are going for. Because this was my first time, I wanted to start with a more natural look, but they definitely offer full glam options as well.

After the consultation, Vanessa prepped my eyes for the lashes. She started by applying gel patches that separated my top and bottom lashes. Next, she cleaned my lash line to make sure it was completely free of any leftover makeup residue. Then she brushed out my natural lashes.

At this point, it was time for the actual lash extensions. It took about two hours for Vanessa to apply the individual Sugarlash PRO lashes, brush them out and then dry the adhesive. The process was a bit long, but totally painless and definitely worth it! I love that I now have long, full lashes and I don’t have to put any product on them! The best part, though?! I don’t even notice them. They aren’t heavy or itchy or anything.

If you’re on the fence about lash extensions, I have two words for you: do it!
