Leather Panel Leggings: The Non-Size-0 Answer To Leather Pants

I bought a pair of these Paige leather panel leggings and now I’m hooked. As a size 8 (and not a 00), I was always hesitant to the idea of leather pants, but spring’s “fake it ’til you make it” version of them was the perfect starter pant for me. With leather or faux leather on the front or sides, and a forgiving, stretchy legging material everywhere else, they are the non-size-0 answer to leather pants. I wear them with everything – chunky sweaters and Rag & Bone booties this winter, and now colorful pointy-toe pumps and silk blouses this spring. And I can’t stop buying them, either – I just picked up a side-panelled pair during a recent Topshop spree, and have my eyes on yet another pair from Rag & Bone. #sorrybankaccount

If you’re unsure of whether you can pull off leather pants, but love how they look and have leather envy this season, I highly (HIGHLY) suggest trying a pair. Click through the slideshow for my picks (literally–I own half of them).
