Remember those middle school days when Juicy Couture was all the rage? You know, those terry-cloth tracksuits that everyone wore from moms to daughters? Back then, circa early 2000s, comfort was everything in fashion. It was like stars wanted the public to see their “I’m above it all” lazy look by wearing sweats, but not just any sweats. Celebs would wear their Juicy tracksuits everywhere in every color with Uggs, duh! In the mid 2000s, every major star was wearing a tracksuit, How could you forget what Amy Poehler wears in Mean Girls the first time her character graces the screen?! “Happy hour is from 4-6!”
The tracksuit fad diminished during the late 2000s, and although Juicy got it together with items like this muscle tank and this awesome double necklace, no one will ever be able to get the Juicy from the 2000s out of their minds. The company announced last week that they will be closing all of their US stores, reports The Cut. The company has plans to open Juicy stores in select U.S cities in 2015. Though we think the ‘Juicy look’ is very outdated, we can’t help but feel saddened by the closing of our 13 year old selves’ favorite store. We decided to pay them tribute with a slideshow of the worst Juicy tracksuit looks of all time, featuring our favorite celebs. Take a look!
