Now You Can Smell Exactly Like Justin Bieber's Dog Tags
October 25, 2010
Oh baby: Just when we were finally coming to terms with Justin Bieber nail polish, the kid with the manicured mop and the microphone goes even further. Today, the Beebs announced his plans to release a unisex collection of “stackable, tradeable” fragrance-infused wristbands and dogtags with the company Etoile, called “My World,” which will retail for $10 at Wal-Mart starting on Black Friday.
Bieber, who told WWD he really likes it when girls wear Britney Spears’s perfume (shocker!) has revealed the scent has top notes of bergamot, lychee and pomegranate, cedar glimmers and a drydown of musk. Not that it matters: the mob that’s forming now to line up at Wal-Mart after Thanksgiving is likely to trample you–best to wait ’til it hits Ebay instead or just get one of these male-designed fragrances now that are guaranteed to last longer than your average Bieber song:
Tom Ford’s Black Orchid atomizers ($160) will still be in style long after the most dedicated fan hangs up her Bieber Fever hat.
This Marc Jacobs Lola solid perfume ($42)- -in cocktail ring form–is more socially acceptable if you’re over the age of 10. (What would your boss say about the dog tag?)
Thierry Mugler’s got decades more experience than Bieber–(he’s also Beyonce’s favorite designer) – try out his new Womanity scent ($58) instead.
