If you love TOMS shoes, you’ll love this new New York-based line MAKE Cosmetics, it’s beauty world-equivalent. If you’re anything like us then you probably have at least 3 lipsticks or glosses in your purse (if not more) at any given time. Now you can actually feel good about being a beauty hoarder–33.3% of the proceeds from all MAKE cosmetics sold goes to the We See Beauty Foundation, which aims to develop women-owned cooperative businesses. Priced $5 to $42, the highly-pigmented, quality ingredient line is more comparable to a MAC or NARS than a drugstore brand.
And to add a little excitement, the company will feature ongoing limited-edition collaborations with artists and designers. First up is London-based interior designer Faye Toogood who teamed up with makeup artist Ayami Nishimura on the “New Medieval” collection, the first of 2 lines for the pair. Check out the slideshow to see our favorites from the collection, including the amazing Skin Illuminator pen that perfects skin while giving it a radiant glow. Although you’ll probably have that philanthropic glow already.
