While I’ve never once identified with the “rave culture,” nor do I ever plan on it (see Hipster Runoff for my feelings on this, epitomized), I did attend the Deadmau5 concert on Halloween last year, in my Ke$ha Halloween costume. And while the concert itself was a bit of a blur (what can I say, it happened pre-FourLoko ban), getting dressed up for it was my favorite part. So even if you aren’t going to HARD Haunted Mansion in LA or the Madeon show in NYC—both places where people won’t be wearing neon ironically—it will still be fun to grab a pacifier necklace, bump some Tiësto, and sport your brightest raver costume this Halloween.
