Everyone can finally put the rumors to rest. It has been confirmed by E! News that Maria Menounos will be replacing Giuliana Rancic’s spot as co-anchor. There has been speculation that Giuliana was leaving because of Maria, but Giuliana said that’s “absurd.” The announcement was made on Thursday, along with news that three other correspondents will be appearing on the show.
“As an established entertainment and news journalist with strong Hollywood connections, Maria has proven herself to be a great fit with the E! News team,” said John Najarian, the E! executive vice president of news and digital.
The three new correspondents joining Maria will be Zuri Hall, Erin Lim, and Sibley Scoles. Najarian noted, “With their diverse backgrounds and wide-ranging areas of expertise, Sibley, Erin and Zuri will be key additions to E! News, which boasts the youngest and most affluent audience amongst all entertainment shows.”
Giuliana’s last day as co-anchor will be on August 10, but she will still be a part of the Fashion Police team and Live From the Red Carpet coverage.
