Miley Cyrus can’t be stopped, or tamed, or anything else. Over the past year, Miley has had a huge style transformation. She’s traded in her innocent, girly style for what I like to call her “anti-Disney, what she thinks is edgy/punk/hip-hop” makeover, aka the poster child for Nasty Gal. First, she got some tattoos, then she said goodbye to her long brown locks and chopped off all (most) of her hair and dyed it platinum blonde. Nowadays, Miley doesn’t leave the house without a crop top and perfectly coifed hair (of what little she has left of it).
Since the release of her new single “We Can’t Stop” (Not gonna lie, it’s good) it seems like Miley’s new raunchy style is in the spotlight even more. Everyone can’t stop talking about what she’s wearing (it IS conversation worthy). From what she wears on a daily basis, to her outfits of choice for talk show appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Good Morning America. But who can blame her really? Isn’t she just going down the same path as pop princesses like Britney and Christina who were also good girls gone bad?
Let’s be real. At this point, the girl is clearly not going back to her squeaky-clean image. Instead of continuing to tell you that Miley has a new, rebellious style, we take a look at some of the most shocking and crazy things she worn to find out just how much this transformation is costing her. We wanted to ask you: what’s crazier: Miley Cyrus’ transformation or how much she’s spent to get there?
Click the slideshow to find out how much Miley’s slew of crop tops, barely-there skin-tight dresses and just all around ridiculous outfits cost her and where you can actually buy these items (if you’re so inclined).
