Mom's Read of the Week: Baby Boot Camp

May 18, 2010 by momcourtenay
shefinds | Kids

Because summer is almost here, this week we’re sending moms to boot camp with our recommended read.

Synopsis: This book contains a collection of nine minute workouts that are specifically designed for the postpartum body. Even better, most require you to use your baby in the exercises to tone and strengthen.

Why We Love It: New moms–and let’s face it, even not-so-new moms–have very full days, and getting a gym workout in is often not a priority. Baby Boot Camp may not be a personal trainer, but it’s a start. Because you use your infant in the exercises, it’s virtually impossible not to have time to fit this workout in. Just select the age of your child, then follow the photos to ensure you are doing the exercises right. Who knew playing with your baby could help get you back to your old self?
