More Photoshop Nonsense: Old Navy Gives Plus-Size Mannequin A Thigh Gap

Last week we discovered that Target went too far with photo editing by cropping the lady bits off a JUNIOR model. Now we have another misadventure in #photoshopfails on our hands thanks to Old Navy. The folks over at Jezebel did some sleuthing and come across the Tumblr WTF Plus. One of the users pointed out that there is in fact a white-out spot (aka, thigh gap) in between the legs of this plus-size mannequin wearing the Women’s Plus The Rockstar Jeggings ($40, down from $44.94). But this isn’t the type of “quiche” thigh gap that Ja’mie, private school girl would KILL to have. It’s a weird, lumpy looking thing that’s evidence of a rushed photo editing job.

Sure, this might not be as bad as Target hacking off parts of a real young woman’s body, but giving unreal expectations to people you want shopping your brand isn’t okay no matter what. There’s been no word yet from Old Navy, but the jeans are still up on their site. Get a closer look at the photoshopping job below:
