Home Depot Discontinued This Tote And Now Hipsters Are Going Crazy For It

What’s the newest hipster trend to hit Instagram? Home Depot tote bags. I’d be surprised, but really, we are talking about hipsters here. I doesn’t shock me these people would buy their fashion accessories at a home improvement store. The giant orange totes are super durable, but unless they are carrying hedge clippers around Brooklyn, the huge bags seem a little unnecessary. But the trend follows the hipster rule of “it’s so uncool, it’s cool.” And on top of that, Home Depot discontinued the $2.99 totes, causing hipster hysteria. Kind of a genius idea on Home Depot’s part, although I doubt that’s the reason they stopped making the bags. My mom actually has a ton of these totes, which she uses for literally everything from storing car cables to delivering cupcakes. If this trend picks up, maybe I should think about stealing them and putting them on eBay, where they are selling for up to $30. Interested? Get yours before they’re too mainstream.
