For those of you who don’t know anything about Vanessa Traina, she has a pretty impressive resumé for only being 28. She’s modeled for for Louis Vuitton, styled for Joseph Altruzza, and her mom is none other than best-selling author Danielle Steel. But now she’s making a name for herself as Executive Creative Director of luxury E-commerce site The Line. The just launched online shop is your one stop destination for “quintessential” beauty, home and fashion products…at least according to Traina. Every item is part of her idea of the “new necessary”, which we’re pretty sure means she just wants to run our lives, or at least our wardrobes, makeup bags and homes…so our lives.

If you want some “quintessential style” in person, you can check out The Apartment in Soho, which is basically Traina’s version of a retail store. Customers get to connect with the designers and products by browsing through an actual closet and sitting on the furniture that might end up in their home. In the store and on the site, you can find designers like J.W. AndersonVince and some more obscure brands. See the site for yourself and decide if you want everything on it to be your “new necessary”. We wouldn’t mind that…
