New Year, New Hair - Here's How To Style It
January 2, 2008
What: Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray, $22.50
Why: This product isn't new. In fact, we've talked about the importance of keeping B&B's Thickening Spray around before. But after recently chopping off my hair, I rediscovered how totally amazing this stuff can be.
Maybe it was the arrival of the New Year, maybe it was the Katie Holmes discussion in the SheFinds forums, or maybe it was just seeing a couple really cute short cuts on writers at our holiday party, but something made me take the plunge when I saw my stylist last week. And I am definitely happy I decided to lop off inches in favor of a chic new style.
But making it look good is something else entirely. That's where the Bumble & Bumble comes in. I can't even begin to tell you what kind of difference this stuff makes on thin hair, and it's especially helpful when you can't just throw your fine hair in a ponytail anymore. Simply spritz a generous amount on (c'mon, it isn't that expensive, so really let loose) while locks are still damp, then blow dry as normal. You won't believe how much easier it is to make your hair look like you want, plus it will stay that way for hours and hours (I don't use any other products anymore).
It's 2008–do something drastic, just make sure you know how to handle the consequences afterwards. A little styling aid from B&B should be able to keep any hair regret under wraps (not to mention make your long-locked friends awfully jealous.)
