1. The Olsen twins’ line The Row may have been recognized by the CFDA, but that isn’t enough to keep Ashley around forever.  The twin left in charge says she’ll want to do something else in a few years, so start perusing Olsen-esque, high-fashion basics elsewhere.  [Daily Express]

2. Some British pubs now house vending machines containing ballet flats for women whose shoes hurt.  The Rollasoles are allegedly available in the U.S., though we have yet to see this ingenious thing – so until we come across the rolled flats on our next night out, we’ll try to make do with comfortable high heels.  [Daily Mail]

3. Elle creative director Joe Zee was caught dining with R. J. Cutler, the director of The September Issue.  We hope this means an Elle equivalent of The September Issue is in the works.  [FWD]

4. Stylists facing lean times, work-wise, are keeping busy by turning themselves into brands.  We wonder who will best follow in Rachel Zoe’s footsteps?  [WWD]
