1. From the Important Stuff department comes the news, brought to you by Dior, that Madonna’s sunglasses worn while she visited victims of her collapsed stage, were made by Dior.  Surely there are a multitude of celebrity sunglasses publicized in a less gauche way.  [WWD via Jezebel]

2. Really expensive brands, e.g. Gucci, are going to become slightly less so, dropping retail prices in reaction to the economy.  We approve, but we also know the prices will never beat getting designer duds at a sample sale.  [Madison Ave. Spy]
