1. The CW’s new show, The Beautiful Life, will begin shooting on July 31st despite star Mischa Barton’s recent hospitalization. The show focuses on a gaggle of fictional international models, and while we can’t wait for it to air, we’ll be keeping up with the other side of the fashion industry.  [WWD]

2. Bliss Spa has apparently sent people dressed as gorillas onto the streets of New York to hand out waxing promotion coupons.  We really can’t decide if hair removal has gone too far.  [Jezebel]

3. Bravo will debut a new reality show focusing on the fashion industry, Launch My Line, on September 16th, featuring both real designers and hopefuls plucked from other aspects of the industry.  We’re interested to see just how fashion-forward these lines end up being.  [Racked]

4. There will, allegedly, be some changes over at Vogue, including shoots from younger photographers featuring a different round-up of models, and a focus on subjects other than socialites.  We’re always down for content centered on people who actually live in the real world. [Fashionista]
