Vixen, mommy and actress Angelina Jolie has been tapped to be the new spokesperson for knitwear giant St. John. As if her disparate images as humanitarian and rumored Girlfriend of Brad weren’t enough, the thirty-something has now signed on to help market a company known for conservative clothing that generally appeals to an older market. Reportedly, Hilary Clinton and Condie Rice are customers, but I’ll admit I’ve found some St. John items I liked, too. The company is apparently trying to appeal to a younger, cooler crowd. But what’s unclear is if the pairing is also meant to help change Jolie’s image into something more mature. Only time will tell if either attempt proves successful.
