After much speculation that Nickelodeon is resurrecting their famous 90s shows, we can finally confirm that all the rumors are true! Nickelodeon officially announced their programming block for The Splat, which is premiering October 5 at 10 pm.
The Splat will debut on TeenNick and consist of an eight-hour program block from 10 pm to 6 am featuring all the best 90s TV shows. According to Us Weekly, “Nickelodeon will throw back to the ‘90s every day with the launch of ‘The Splat,’ a new multiscreen content destination spanning television, seven social media platforms, and a dedicated website aggregating the most loved Nick content from the 1990s and beyond.”
As if this news isn’t exciting enough, The Splat is going to be totally interactive with social media presence on every platform, a fan-driven website, and a 90s-inspired emoji keyboard! You can expect to see all the classic shows like Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, Clarissa Explains It All, Kenan & Kel, All That and so much more.
