No More Toe Warmers: Keep Your Feet Toasty With These Heated Socks Instead
November 22, 2013
If you’ve ever gone skiing, played in the snow, or spent some solid time walking in the cold, then you know what can happen to your toes. They go numb, and it’s pretty much inevitable. Those toe warmers work for maybe an hour or so, but then you’re back to the frozen state and something that feels like a big stone is stuck in your shoe. But there’s a new product out there that claims to keep your toes nice and toasty for as long as you need: self-heating socks. They come complete with a removable battery pack, and are made from wool. It only takes 5-10 minutes to heat them to the max temperature, and they cost about $20. Since Black Friday is around the corner and you’ll probably be waiting outside in the freezing cold for days on end, you should probably invest in a pair.
