Many of you know Olivia Wilde as the face of Revlon or Marissa Copper‘s former lover, but that’s just the actress part of her life. Wilde is also a humanitarian, and wants to change the way people shop with her project Conscious Commerce. Its mission is to link products, like dresses or shoes, with a charity and then have the sales go towards that cause. If anything it makes people feel a little less guilty about shopping when their money is going to children in Africa or a food bank. Wilde’s latest Conscious Commerce collab is with Anthropologie and the duo made this awesome New Light Dress ($298). Olivia’s even worn it herself, so you know it’s good. Plus, proceeds will benefit the New Light school in Kolkata, India, a clinic for children that come from low-income households. So there’s really no reason for you not to shop it.

And Conscious Commerce isn’t the first charitable organization Wilde became a part of. In 2012, she partnered with Alternative Apparel on a messenger bag to help raise money for Haiti. It’s so hard to hate celebrities when they do such good things with their fame. Keep it up Olivia!
