While watching the S/S 2013 runway shows last fall, we couldn’t help but notice that oversized, high-drama ruffles were everywhere. Givenchy, Gucci, Chloe, and Balenciaga all featured the trend, and – much to our surprise – it actually made it off the runway and into stores. What we’re wondering is this: Will women actually wear them? We’re all for a well-placed ruffle here and there, but we usually prefer our ruffles on our bedding or on our baby niece’s dresses – not on our own.  We’re not sure if these big frills will take. Then again, we said the same thing about peplum a few years back, and look at how that took off. Click through the slideshow to browse these mega ruffles and let us know in the comments where you fall on this trend.
