Not Ready For Maternity Clothes Yet? Try These Forgiving Dresses Instead

Just because you’re pregnant doesn’t mean you’re confined to the maternity section. Whether you’re just a few months or your bump hasn’t really sprouted yet, lots of moms-to-be can wear non-maternity clothes well into their second trimester.

So if you’re hesitant to head for the maternity dresses just yet, try these flowy non-maternity dresses instead. They’re stylish, but they also offer some room for a growing tummy.

I know this Tucker dress ($318) is a splurge, but just remember: you really will be able to wear it again after you have the baby since it’s not technically a maternity dress.

Maternity maxi dresses are still hot for fall so consider this long T-shirt dress ($105) your weekend uniform. Pair it with comfy ballet flats or flat boots and you can go anywhere in this dress.

Could there be a cozier-looking dress? This DKNY sweater dress ($145) pairs perfectly with tights or leggings depending on the weather.

If you are ready to hit the maternity section, check out maternity dresses and maternity jeans in our buying guides.
