Holographic eyeliner is one of the first makeup trends of 2018 and it is beautiful! NYX recently dropped its Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner to help makeup fanatics achieve this trendy and glam look, but there’s just one problem…It’s selling out almost everywhere, including! “Inspired by all-things-unicorn, this unique formula uses ultra-fine, pigmented pearls to create a sleek, shimmering line, or it can be blended out to an intense, holographic eyeshadow,” NYX states on their website. Sounds like something we NEED in our makeup kit ASAP! Fortunately, we found some dupes that are just as good (and cheaper) as the original NYX Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner, which retails for $11. We’re dying to get our hands on the new NYX product, but in the meantime, you can achieve a shimmery, pearlized eye look with these products:

J. Cat Beauty Online Only Pris-Metal Chrome Eye Mousse ($5.99)

If you’re looking for a pink holographic hue like NYX’s Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner in “Cotton Candy,” the Pris-Metal Chrome Eye Mousse in “Champagne Wiz” is a close contender. Make your eyes pop with a metallic foil effect with this mousse-textured eye makeup. It comes in 6 colors and is only available online at

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow ($6.99)

The Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow is long-lasting and has a unique cream-based gel. It comes in a mini pot just like NYX’s Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner so you can use your fingers to swipe it on as eyeshadow or use a thin brush to create a precise line.

“I like to use it as a base for powdered shadows. Use primer, then this, then tap on powdered shadows. Great color and stays all day.” -Amg124

ColourPop Crème Gel Show Me Liner ($5.00)

This cream-gel textured eyeliner is compacted into a mechanical pencil for convenience and precision. ColourPop’s Crème Gel Show Me Liner has true copper hues that closely resembles NYX’s Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner in “Palisade Paradise.”

“Creamy, smooth, vibrant. I have no bad things to say about this liner. I love how metallic it is.” -KK

Revlon PhotoReady Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash ($7.19)

If you love NYX’s Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner in “Killing It,” you’ll love Revlon’s 3-in-1 PhotoReady Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash in “Green Glimmer!” The cream shadow has a metallic foil effect on one end and a shimmery, glittery effect on the other. It also comes in gold and purple shades as well.

“I have a problem with my eyeshadow wearing off after a while so I bought this expecting the same results but I’ve been wearing it for 7 hours now and it’s still like it was when I first put it on! And it’s so pretty! ” -bhayes91

White holographic liner is not for the faint of heart. Like NYX’s Holographic Halo Cream Eyeliner in “Frost,” e.l.f.’s Long-Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in “Confetti” will make you feel like a shimmery snow queen! Despite the light color, this whipped gel textured eyeshadow is highly pigmented and gives a pearlized, holographic look.
