According to Nails Inc., 2013 is all about textured polish. And with their recent launches—including leather, feathers and denim—it’s safe to say they are leading the movement. Every time we turn our heads, they’re up to something new. This time, it’s concrete nail polish. That’s right, concrete–as in the gray stuff that sidewalks are made of. I know, it sounds kind of whack. I mean, why on earth would you want your nails to look like concrete? But then again, we asked ourselves the same thing when we first laid eyes on the caviar manicure.
The Nails Inc. Concrete Nail Polish Collection ($11 each) includes shades Monument, London Wall, Stonehenge and Marble Arch. The collection just so happens to include bold shades for summer (as well as the standard concrete gray). And, not to worry, it doesn’t include actual cement. It dries with a concrete-like texture, which makes for fun, edgy looking nails. But who in their right mind likes the texture of concrete?! Are you over the textured nail polish trend or are you anxiously waiting for what they will think of next?
