If you spend a good chunk of your time exchanging iMessages and emails, it can become frustrating trying to navigate through them all of it get to the information you need. Surely, there’s a simple way to scroll down and return to our original content without losing our minds?
Turns out, scrolling views in iOS respond to swipe frequency, according to Apple, which simply means the quicker you use your finger to swipe the screen and get past messages, the faster it will respond and deliver content that appears at the bottom of your message. Apple recommends relying on long, quick swipes that are repeated quickly and one after the other when scrolling through long documents, webpages, or emails.
And, if you happen to be lost all the way at the bottom of your messages and want to return your most recent message, the solution is super simple: tap the time stamp on the status bar at the top of your screen. You’ll instantly be brought back to your most recent message.
