You wake up to a full iPhone battery, scroll through social media for a bit, and then throw your phone in your bad until the next time you feel the urge to stalk your ex. The next thing you know, when you pull it out again, you are down to 40 percent. How is that possible??
According to Softonic.com, it may have to do with your Facebook obsession. The social network is the absolute worst application to use when your phone is about to die. Yikes! In order to prevent mass usage of your battery life, make sure that you have the most recent version of each app downloaded, especially Facebook, who did away with automatic updates in 2015.
Also, make sure to double click the home button (if using an updated iPhone) or use your settings for a Background App Refresh to prevent any apps from running in the background. By being a little smarter with how we use our apps, we can save ourselves a huge chunk of battery life (and stress of stalking our ex!).
