Opening Ceremony's First In-House Line Of Handbags Are Here!
August 24, 2012
We all let out some serious fangirl screams back in April when Opening Ceremony’s Humberto Leon and Carol Lim announced they’d be adding handbags to their in-house repertoire come fall, but we’re downright shrieking now that we’ve laid eyes on the new must-have designs. That’s right: they’ve arrived!
Not one to rest on their laurels, Leon and Lim delivered seriously streamlined shapes in bright shades of red, orange, turquoise and black — a welcome departure from the earthy hues we’d been expecting for the in-house line. Priced between $450 for the petite mini bucket bag for those on-the-go evenings and $800 for the Tokyo Large Tote Bag, a boxy carry-all you’ll lug your laptop around in, the 8-piece range is certainly cause for celebration. Oh, that and Opening Ceremony’s ten-year anniversary next month! The entire collection is available for purchase now and you’ll want to move quick, especially now that the word’s out.
