While I don’t much believe in resolutions, I am very superstitious when it comes to starting a new year off right. I never go to bed on New Year’s Eve with a dirty house or dirty laundry and on the first day of a new year, I always eat foods that are supposed to bring money, luck and fortune. I’ve just convinced myself that how you begin the year sets the tone for the next 364 days.
Given my propensity for superstitions, it should come as no surprise that I wholeheartedly believe in spending the first night of the new year on the very best bedding. You don’t want rough sheets foreshadowing a rough year ahead, do you?
Truth be told, I’m a homebody who loves lounging in my bed, so soft, cozy, luxurious bedding is an absolute must for me all year round. One of the brands I love most? Peacock Alley! Let me tell you, this is the bedding we should all be so lucky to sleep on.
Peacock Alley does blankets, coverlets, throws and duvet covers very well, but where they excel? Sheets! Holy. Softness. I didn’t realize how subpar my other sheets were until I switched to Peacock Alley’s sateen sheets which have a 420 thread count! They felt heavenly right out of the package, but I washed them once and they got even softer. I’m in love.
Something tells me that sleeping on bedding as good as Peacock Alley’s will be a lot like flying first class; once you’ve done it, you can never go back. But if you’re going to splurge on yourself, it’s should definitely be with your bedding. You spend eight to ten hours laying on it every night, after all! Treat yourself to something luxurious from Peacock Alley and I can promise you won’t regret it.
