Starbucks is having a really hard time pleasing their customers this year. First, the Internet completely lost it over the company’s red holiday cups, which soon became known as the #RedCupControversy and now the mega coffee chain is upsetting customers…again. This time, however, it has nothing to do holiday cups or actual coffee. The latest culprit is Starbucks’ polar bear cookies.
Customers are extremely upset about the polar bear cookies, which are frosted cookies designed to look like a happy polar bear wearing a red scarf. But, of course, people are taking these cookies entirely too seriously and claiming the polar bears look like they are not wearing a scarf, but are actually bleeding from a slashed neck. Here are some very intense reactions to Starbucks’ polar bear cookies.
As their anti-Christmas rampage continues, Starbucks ordered the throats slashed on every little polar bear cookie. pic.twitter.com/lgpCYZTP3W

I gotta love Starbucks new cookies. A polar bear with it's throat slit? That's a holiday you don't forget. pic.twitter.com/huZrREQdDp

This is why we can’t have nice things. Calm down, people. It’s a cookie.
