Anthropologie’s monthly Made In Kind series usually features exclusive pieces from indie designers (past partners include Karen Walker and Dusen Dusen). We aren’t sure that this month’s collaborator, Peter Som, can be considered an indie designer anymore (the man has is own nail polish collection). Som’s designs are usually reserved for high-end boutiques and red carpets, but now they can be found in your closet, too. His 11 piece collection for Anthropologie features dresses, skirts and tops and retails between $128 to $360. He told style.com:
The collection has that off-kilter, patchwork, kind of magpie sensibility. It’s about a quirky elegance.
Som added that the zebra-head print featured in the collection “is a neutral.” Don’t believe him? Click through the slideshow to see the collection for yourself.
The quirky-yet-elegant Made In Kind collection launches in stores and on anthropologie.com May 17. You can also look forward to a fall Anthropologie collection from Som, which will include both apparel and accessories.
