April 1, 2014
We told you how to land your dream job after graduating college, but now you’re probably wondering what to do with all that information. Well, first of all, you might not know exactly what you’re doing with the rest of your life the day you walk across that stage wearing your cap and gown, but that’s okay! It might take you a few weeks, months or years to figure it out, but eventually you’ll find something that works.
Here’s where we come in to help. Your job doesn’t have to be some boring 9-5 where you’re counting down the hours until the day is over. There are some seriously cool jobs nowadays that didn’t exist ten or even five years ago. And they’re especially for the millennial generation, those of you born between 1980-2000–like me. Our parents, and even people as young as 35, don’t have the same workplace values as we do. We’re into jobs where we can telecommute, set individual work hours, get free food (#freeANYTHANG) and more perks that aren’t as important to an older person.
Most of these awesome jobs are found through word of mouth, but you can still apply online for a bunch of these positions. So for those of you about to graduate, or if you’re looking for a career change and want to pursue something you actually enjoy, check out these 11 jobs only millennials have the skill set, and interest, for.
