Press-On Nails Are Still A Thing (According To Nicole Scherzinger)
February 29, 2012
Nicole Scherzinger, former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and former X-Factor judge (and former-other-things as well, we’re sure), has launched a line of fake nails with imPress Press-On Manicure.
Celebrities: they’re just like us! They need money, too.
Seriously, what? We have things like Sally Hansen Salon Effects and Minx (and God-knows-what-else nail miracle product coming down the pipeline) that work way better than the press-on nails of Halloweens and childhood past. But at least she’s staying true to her roots: the collection will feature designs inspired by Scherzinger’s native Hawaii, including (YES) hibiscus flower designs. Just like old times! We take back what we said about Halloween — maybe there is some potential here.
We felt the same way about Kate Walsh’s perfume, but could dig Katy Perry’s line of false lashes. What do you think — are celebrities getting too licensing-happy? Keep an eye on the site for more news on ridiculous celebrity collabos and other WTF news.
